All faculties will use online registration for 2023 registration. However, registration forms are available on the website in circumstances where there is a technical issue.

Both semesters at the University of Fort Hare are enrolled during the Jan–Feb. registration period.

Please be aware that after the registration period has ended, you cannot register at a later time. The “Proof of Registration Form” is available on each student's IENABLER, and it is crucial for all students to check and confirm that their qualification and module details have been accurately captured there.

Due to the drawn-out selection procedure and the extended registration period given to them, master's and doctoral students may register up until March 31, 2023.

• It's important to note that, depending on the availability of space and the university's judgment on enrollment quotas, Online Registration for quotas that are filled may close earlier than this date. Due to the intense competition, it is crucial that applicants follow the registration processes earlier.

UFH Online registration for International Students

A student who has been admitted into an academic program of study at the University of Fort Hare and is from outside of South Africa is referred to as an international student. The following set of important compliance documents is a requirement for all international students before registration.

• Documentation needed for international students

– A student visa issued by the South African High Commission, Embassy, or Consulate in your nation of origin or residence;

– Documentation showing proof of valid medical insurance in South Africa; and

– SAQA verification of a foreign credential.
