Residence Fees: Method of Payment of Fees
Fees can be paid in cash at the bank, i.e. settle the whole amount in full on registration.
If this method is preferred, a discount of 10% of total amount due, [for the year] after taking into account bursaries and/or any financial assistance [where applicable], is offered for payment in full upon registration.
The current application fee for WSU undergraduate programs is R100 for South African applicants and R300 for international applicants. For postgraduate programs, the application fee is R200 for South African applicants and R500 for international applicants.
The application fee can be paid online through the WSU website using a credit card or by direct deposit into the WSU bank account. Applicants should ensure that they include their full name and student number (if available) as a reference when making the payment.
It is important to note that payment of the application fee does not guarantee admission into a WSU program. Admissions decisions are based on a variety of factors, including academic performance, entrance exams, and other admission requirements.
Please note that no student will be allowed to register without paying the minimum amount.
