If you are unable to apply online, you may submit a paper application by printing the forms from the links above, and sending them to the Admissions Office at the address indicated on the right.

SUN Application Forms for 2024 admissions will become available in April 2024.

Candidates should utilise a computer with a strong internet connection and a valid email address to apply online.

To successfully apply for SUN admission for the 2024 academic year, follow the steps given below:

Visit SUN online application portal via www.sun.ac.za and click on ‘Apply Now’ or alternatively go to www.student.sun.ac.za/signup/ to apply.
Once you click on the link above, they will direct you to fill in your biographical information.
The next step is to purchase the non-refundable application fee of R100 to the Stellenbosch University portal. (applicable to manual applicants only.)
Follow every step given on the page to purchase the application form online. Thereafter, your reference number (student number) will be sent to the email address you provided.
Follow all the guidelines on the page and upload the documents needed to apply.
Clicking the SUBMIT AND PRINT button will submit the form.
Make sure you provide the correct information before submitting the form. Changes after form submission is not allowed.

Certified copy of your ID document(ID document compulsory for SA citizens – your application cannot be processed without a certified copy of your ID and Passport Number for International Applicants
Exam Results: Final Grade 12 results (if available). Grade 11 results (if currently doing grade 12) are very important for your application. Thus, have it on hand.
Remember you will need a unique email address when applying either online or in a hard copy.
