Nedbank and SASSA have a partnership aimed at providing social grant beneficiaries with greater access to their funds. This collaboration allows beneficiaries to withdraw their grants at Nedbank ATMs and branches across the country, as well as other participating bank ATMs. Additionally, beneficiaries may receive SMS notifications from SASSA and be provided with a Nedbank Money Account, which is linked to their SASSA payment card, to manage their finances. This service helps beneficiaries to access their funds safely, conveniently and without incurring additional costs. The partnership between Nedbank and SASSA is expected to provide greater financial inclusion and empowerment for social grant beneficiaries.
