Description:

Drives the Mobile Health Vehicle safely and responsibly to and from its home site to a variety of places throughout the Metro Atlanta Region while under general supervision. assumes accountability for keeping track of and assuring the maintenance of the vehicle, and plans to service as needed. at all times, sets up and breaks down the vehicle properly to serve patients safely. assumes the responsibilities of a patient service representative, such as registering attendees at events, helping patients schedule appointments for medical care, and helping with survey data. Performs numerous tasks at the regional office or medical office and makes site inspections for upcoming events when not working on the vehicle.

Main Responsibilities:

Driver in charge of setting up, taking down, and returning the Mobile Health Vehicle to the assigned facility after events.
Observe patient flow, engage with patients, and help them fill out forms as they check in both members and non-members (sign-in sheet, vaccine information sheets, privacy documentation, and immunization forms, etc.).
Schedule appointments, help attendees register on kp.org, ask for survey completion, and perform other tasks as given while the event is going on.
Gather and submit all paperwork to the regional office following each event (summary sheets, consent forms, etc.)
Finish the day's business by parking the car, returning the key, calling the cleaning crew, etc.
Run all electronic devices, the onboard generator, and the septic system (computer, printer, iPhone, and iPad).

Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and record findings in the tracking log.
Maintain, examine, and report any damage or malfunction to the vehicle's equipment.
Keep track of your gas card, waste, and mileage receipts.
Reorder and replenish the vehicle's supplies.
When necessary, carry out basic IT troubleshooting and auto maintenance tasks.
Make care to refill the car, maintain the waste and freshwater tanks, and dispose of them as needed.
Provide patients, employers, and workers with first-rate customer service.
When assigned, carry out project work and administrative tasks.
Visit the locations of the events.
Before and after the event, collect and return the vaccines.
Ensure that the vehicle receives the monthly recommended maintenance, which includes service and tracking.
Under the supervision of a higher-level resource, assist with the initial problem identification and resolution.
As directed, attend departmental meetings.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of recent experience in customer service.
  • Minimum two (2) years of truck driving experience.
Education
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
  • A valid CDL Class B driver's license, with air brake endorsement.

Additional Requirements:

  • having knowledge of the DOT guidelines for Georgia
  • a healthy bodily state
  • being able to lift 50 pounds
  • trustworthy and a good team player.
  • Display excellent interpersonal skills.
  • a good ability to make decisions and pay attention to details.
  • Ability to act freely and think creatively when dealing with car problems.
  • Per year, there can only be one moving infraction or three (3) points added to your license.
  • Start and end times are flexible, and some Saturdays and Sundays are available.
  • knowledge of software programs for computers.
  • Finish the customer service evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Twenty-one (21) years old (required by our insurance company).
  • One (1) year of experience in mobile vehicle management.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • CPR.
  • Medical terminology, Bilingual, English, and Spanish.
