New requirements for the Sassa R350 grant went into effect at the end of the National State of Disaster. Under the new rules, the procedure for requesting a R350 reward is as follows.
Applications for the R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) award are as yet being acknowledged, however they should be presented by Walk 1. Online applications for SRD grants are increasingly common.
In response to Coronavirus and its ramifications on the economy, the South African government fostered another Sassa award known as the Social Alleviation of Pain (SRD) grant, frequently known as the R350 award.
Before submitting an application, applicants must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:
- Without a job, South African nationals, long-term residents, refugees, asylum seekers, and holders of special permits cannot support themselves.
- Between the ages of 18 and 60, no other social grants, UIFs, or NSFASs are offered.
