Job Summary:
Creates reports, thorough communication, and presentations to assist with the management and sharing of information. Maintains workflow by aiding department managers as needed in resolving normal and ad hoc requests and difficulties. Helps with event planning by, with little direction, scheduling meetings for directors and their direct teams. Small-scale event planning that requires little direction helps with event execution. using practical knowledge of the department's data and document preservation policies begins to put data maintenance and management into practice.

- Maintains the department's workflow by aiding department managers as needed in resolving routine and ad hoc requests and issues, recognizing issues to provide a solution to and providing guidance for; maintaining inventory control and stocking department office supplies, equipment, and employee work environment resources (such as space assignment, computer) in accordance with typical budgetary policies and escalating inventory issues; receiving, screening, and referring standard incoming and outgoing emails, calls, and visits to the appropriate staff member; entering and editing routine data; and using standard office software (such as email, fax, and xerox).
- Helps with event coordination by: scheduling meetings for directors and their direct teams with front-line staff, with limited guidance; supporting meeting facilitation by coordinating PowerPoint presentations, taking parking lot notes, checking that equipment is working, and ordering food when necessary, with little day-to-day supervision; finding and booking meeting rooms suitable for the target audience and meeting objectives, and identifying alternatives.
- Helps with event implementation by planning for the organization of regular travel arrangements for the department head and/or staff members; organizing small-scale events with little guidance; providing on-site coordination for common problems with little direction; locating required standard audio-visual equipment, conference rooms, and catering for events with some assistance; distributing the agenda and taking minutes in meetings. Assisting in the execution of small group meetings and conferences.
- Using a working knowledge of the department's data and document retention policies begins to apply human resources data maintenance and management by entering, compiling, organizing, validating, tracking, and maintaining data integrity, performing standard data analyses with some assistance from senior colleagues, and formatting simple graphs, spreadsheets, and reports.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in Communications, Business, Health Care, or a directly related field.
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent AND minimum two (2) years of experience working in a corporate or business office environment OR Minimum three (3) years experience working in a corporate or business office environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Communications, Business, Health Care, or a related field.
