Performs tasks related to equipment and machinery maintenance at the Central Refill Pharmacy under the supervision of the CRP Manager. Under little supervision, ensures that all machinery, including but not limited to electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, PLC, and computer-controlled in the CRP, operates efficiently and consistently.

Essential Purposes

– Under general supervision, performs duties supporting conveyor and sortation equipment, as well as the operations of the Central Refill Pharmacy.
– Weekend shifts and after-hours work during emergencies may be necessary.
– Conducts equipment inspections and adjustments.
– Examines operation and maintenance manuals, specs, blueprints, and other papers to ascertain appropriate operation.
– Troubleshoots and solves problems in both typical and atypical circumstances.
– Utilizes computers and other devices with microprocessors to control, calibrate, and analyze numerous pieces of equipment.
– Verifies that freshly installed machinery and equipment meet contract requirements by testing them.
– Handles other tasks as required.
