Job Summary:
Performs a range of unlicensed patient care jobs in an inpatient hospital setting under the indirect supervision of the unit supervisor and under the guidance of licensed professionals; accountable and responsible for assigned tasks.
Significant Duties:
Helps with continuing data collection; notices changes in patient state and informs RN/LPN of changes; puts care plan into action under the supervision of licensed professionals.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience
- N/A
Education
- Hospital Aide Training Program or documented completion of equivalent military training course; or equivalent combination of education (lesser) and experience may be considered in lieu of requirements.
License, Certification, Registration
- CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers required at hire OR Basic Life Support required at hire
Additional Requirements:
- Experience or successful completion of the training program (pre-hire, post-hire, or on-the-job) in area of specialty, if applicable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in oral communication, written communication, interpersonal relations, and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of Hospital Aide experience.
