SASSA July 2024 Payment Dates 2023-2024

SASSA is responsible for providing financial assistance in the form of grants and allowances to disadvantaged individuals in the country. Typically, SASSA payments are made on the first day of each month, but they may be issued earlier if the first day falls on a weekend or holiday. It's important to keep in mind that payment dates can change, so beneficiaries are advised to contact SASSA directly or their local post office for the latest information.

Each month, SASSA releases the payment schedule for the R350 Social Relief Award, which includes important details such as payment dates and how to check the status of an award. Additionally, SASSA is responsible for administering government funding for the Covid-19 Social Assistance program, as well as providing assistance to those who receive disability and child support grants.

As of July 2024, SASSA has released the payment dates for the month, which are as follows:

SASSA Payment Dates for July 2024:

• Older Person’s Grant – From 2nd July
• Disability Grant – From 5th July
• All Other Grants – From  6th July

How to check my SASSA Payment Dates

To find out when your SASSA payment will be made, if you are a SASSA beneficiary, you can use one of the following methods:

• Firstly, visit the official SASSA website at www.sassa.gov.za, and navigate to the “Payments” tab on the top menu. Click on the “Payment Dates” link in the “Payments” section, and choose your payment type, such as a disability grant, old age grant, or child support grant, from the drop-down list. Enter either your ID number or SASSA card number in the provided field and click on “Submit”. You will then be able to view your payment dates on the screen.
• Alternatively, you can check your payment dates by dialing the SASSA toll-free helpline at 0800 60 10 11 and providing your ID number or SASSA card number to the operator. If you prefer, you can also visit your nearest SASSA office and ask about your payment dates in person.
