Description:

Has accountability for a range of materials management tasks under close supervision, including but not limited to keeping an accurate inventory of storeroom supplies, reviewing recently received shipments, and verifying shipments adhere to purchase orders. Deliver both in-stock and out-of-stock commodities, as well as store, restock, and document recently received and returned goods. mail sorting and posting. Use machinery for handling materials, such as forklifts.

 

Essential Purposes

Uphold KP rules and processes, responsibility principles, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
– Write up documentation or send replenishment requests.
– Adjust inventory levels in light of data, consumer feedback, and understanding of inventory availability and replenishment lead times.
– Inventory analysis may be done.
– In accordance with predetermined routes and STAT customer demands, deliver supplies, linen, medical records, mail, medications, lab specimens, radiography images, hazardous materials, and other goods to customers in the allotted time.
– Check to see if the item(s) from normal stock or the formula properly satisfies the customer's request.
– Check that the quantity, time supply, unit of issuance and stock/part number are accurate.
– Fill out and properly format recharge and order processing paperwork as necessary.
– Rotate and replenish the supply shelves, looking for and eliminating any out-of-date items.
– Keep supply areas neat, tidy, and labeled.
– Finish the necessary paperwork for inventory adjustments and reorganizations.

– Accept deliveries and maybe help unload trucks.
– Check deliveries for damage and quality; confirm that shipments meet the requirements of the purchase order.
– Keeps track of deliveries.
– Carry out cycle counts and keep data.
– React correctly to consumer questions about assistance for logistical services.
– May do research requests over the phone and/or online.
– Help clients with the return order or repair process.
– Arranges for proper documentation, packaging requirements, and shipping/transportation.
Sort mail and other goods to guarantee timely distribution and efficiency.
– US may post.
– Uses hand trucks, flatbed carts, and electric and manual pallet jacks for lifting and moving materials according to specified safety measures.
– Capable of using a forklift.
– Completes additional tasks as requested.

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehousing or material management of medical products, preferred.

• High School Diploma/GED, preferred.

• Current California driver's license may be required as specified by area.

• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the job including but not limited to medical supplies, stocking & rotation practices, receiving functions, & exchange cart & par level supply systems.

• Ability to maintain effective customer relations.

• Ability to utilize written & oral communication skills.

• Ability to work at multiple sites & transport self between facilities.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
