Department Description:
The Ancillary Product Team is responsible for three main tasks: developing and implementing a national ancillary product strategy; providing centralized support for ancillary products across Kaiser Permanente; and managing and operating ancillary products in California. We provide the following products: optical, dental, hearing, acupressure, and exercise/fitness. We are authorities on regional and national trends, KP product strategy, and the product competitive landscape for supplementary items. We have a strong grasp of how our products function as well as the member and customer experience, and we constantly strive to improve.
Intern Projects:
Competitive auxiliary benefit plan research and analysis projects (optical, dental, hearing care, complementary and alternative medicine, exercise and fitness). completing a list of supplementary services and advantages offered by KP and working with the team to look for chances for improvement. construction of internal informational websites for ancillary items. bolster more strategic initiatives. Team members collaborate with Across Ancillary Products and KP On-The-Job on product financial analysis and reporting. KPOJ support for new market entry (CO, GA, MAS). Planning for the KPOJ Customer Digital Experience business plan.
