How to register UCT Online 2023-2024
To finish registration, sign in to your PeopleSoft student account and follow the on-screen instructions.
The online registration assignment and course enrolment are prerequisites for brand-new coursework master's pupils.
To apply, go online. You will require a working email address, your South African identity number, or, if you are a foreign candidate, your passport number in order to apply online.
You can submit a paper application if you are unable to apply online. Before the deadline of August 31, 2023, completed undergraduate application forms must be sent to admissions-ug@uct.ac.za with the subject line “2023 UCT Application Form.”
If you are unable to email the form, please submit it to the admissions office with enough time for it to arrive before the closing date (see details on the right). Postgraduate applicants must submit their applications online.

When to apply
Applications open in April every year and you should try to submit an application as soon as possible after that date.
Application Fees
An application fee must be paid for every application, except in the case of most graduates of UCT. Please refer to the fee structure for more information.
University of Cape Town Postgraduate Online Application
Most postgraduate programs containing coursework close on 31 October. Please refer to the 2023-2024 Directions for Postgraduate Applicants for the relevant closing dates.
Applications for research-only postgraduate programs do not close. Please select the year in which you wish to start your programme when applying.

Closing dates for the 2023-2024 Academic Year
Second-semester applications open on 8 January and close 30 April.
First-semester applications close on 15 November.
