Utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, and database software independently, does clerical tasks or accounting assistance; carries out fundamental analyses and problem-solving; utilizes department-specific software; and effectively communicates with team members.

Significant Duties:
Independently offers assistance with accounting and/or clerical tasks.
To make sure it is accurate and comprehensive, analyze facts and information. Recognize data flaws, fix them, and address issues.
Make sure your data is accurate and formatted correctly before entering it in databases. Run dependable reports.
Perform fundamental spreadsheet operations on Excel spreadsheets or reports.
Work with the Remote Client, HealthConnect, and EPIC solutions.
Format Word documents in accordance with accepted business practices.
PowerPoint slides should be formatted to improve and properly explain the topic being delivered.
Work with department-specific computer systems and complete duties unique to that department.
Keep up departmental supplies as necessary (count, sort, restock, order)

Credentialing and Re-credentialing
Resumes & Transfers
Discharges
Hospice and Home Care Activity Codes
Office clerical procedures for CDS

Basic Qualifications:
- Order DME
- Microsoft Teams Suite; Word, Excel, Teams & PowerPoint
- Operate: Work with EPIC software, Remote Client, HealthConnect, Imprivata Cortex and HCMS
Experience
- Minimum One (1) year of work experience
Education
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
License, Certification, Registration

Additional Conditions:
- Understanding of composition and elementary math. must pass a math proficiency test.
- Use of a networked computer (email, KP intranet, internet).
- Must pass an exam on basic PC abilities and be proficient with Microsoft Office Teams, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- The capacity to read and comprehend memos, brief correspondence, and instructions.
- The capacity to recognize, evaluate, and resolve issues with files
- Ability to work accurately in a busy environment with a high volume of work.
- Show professionalism by acting with courtesy, tact, and patience toward members, doctors, coworkers, and clients.
- Being able to use knowledge of department policies and procedures, as well as knowledge of other departments' Rules and procedures, and knowledge of other departments' functions
- Must pass a test on medical terminology as necessary.

- Familiarity with MediCare Home Health Benefits
- Cortex is used to schedule both patients and personnel.

Skills Testing*:
- Basic PC skills test (able to pass PC skills assessment), Medical Terminology) able to pass standardized test), Typing 40 WPM, Basic Math Assessment. Basic Excel testing.
