Job Summary:
Serves as a lead consultant to guarantee the coordination, alignment, and buy-in of various stakeholders to drive the implementation of major business initiatives, projects, and workstreams across several functional tracks. drives organizational alignment, business initiative prioritization, and business strategy. oversees the work of the project or program team. drives the creation and application of business initiatives, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state by offering knowledge. functions as a subject matter expert in the proactive monitoring and detection of client, project, program, and/or company risks while managing complex, cross-functional projects and programs. Designing, directing, and acting as a subject matter expert for change management strategies related to corporate projects. evaluates strategic performance criteria under the direction of the business initiatives. Partakes in vendor management as needed. checks that team members are following applicable policies and procedures and business plans to ensure work activities are compliant.

Significant Duties:

Serves as a lead consultant to ensure the coordination, alignment, and buy-in of various stakeholders to drive the implementation of strategic business initiatives and projects/programs across numerous functional tracks or workstreams by identifying and ensuring representation and inclusion of appropriate stakeholders; developing relationships and partnerships with key stakeholder teams, outside vendors, and executive management; working with stakeholders to develop goals and objectives.

Drives business strategy, organizational alignment, and prioritization of business initiatives through close collaboration with senior executives to facilitate the development, refinement, and articulation of the business strategy; defining, developing, and evaluating performance metrics, standards, and methods to establish business success; leading the development of strategic roadmaps for solution development and deployment; and working with senior cross-functional stakeholders.

The management of complicated programs or portfolios to assure delivery of quantifiable results and alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborating with senior cross-functional stakeholders, often with competing for/conflicting agendas to achieve unified and achievable metrics.

Delivers and promotes the strategic vision and objectives to team members, as well as provides performance feedback to team members' supervisors and leadership as necessary. Leads the work of project/program team members by requesting and coordinating internal and/or external resources based on the alignment of team member skills and project/program demands.

Utilizing various business requirements gathering methodologies to identify business, functional, and non-functional requirements, leading and supervising the development and documentation of comprehensive requirements, or leading a team of consultants in the development of requirements for large-scale, complex, or specialized business, process, or system solutions across business domain(s).

By maintaining a thorough understanding of how current processes impact business operations across multiple domains, comparing current state processes to future state processes, utilizing stakeholder partnerships to identify the operational needs and impact of requirements on upstream and downstream solution components, providing expertise, and driving the development and implementation of business initiatives, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state.

Coordinates stakeholders to manage complex, cross-functional projects and/or programs; recommends or assigns team resources based on project requirements and team member strengths; consults on the development, analysis, and management of project/program plans; works with others to coordinate project/program scope, schedules, and resource forecasts; proactively monitors and identifies project/program/business initiative risks, issues, and trigger events; develops and implements project/program/business initiative

Lead the creation of mitigation plans and strategies, and resolve or escalate risks or issues as necessary to serve as an expert in the proactive monitoring and detection of client, project, program, and/or company risks, issues, and trigger events.

By working with stakeholders to gain their support and buy-in for changes, designing, leading, and serving as an authority on change management plans related to business initiatives, and collaborating with executive management, project/program champions, and business owners to communicate and align improvement initiatives with business objectives, choosing the most appropriate change management method and approach, and ensuring stakeholders adopt a change management mindset and understand the intent

establishes partnerships with data analytics teams to ensure that business objectives are translated into analytic specifications, leading the assessment of strategic performance indicators to support business activities; deciding on the best data collection and analysis techniques (such as process observation, hard data, etc.); choosing the right data analysis tools and approach;

Leads the ongoing innovation of consulting practices, standards, and methods across KP and serves as a lead advocate for continuous learning and professional development by staying up to date with cutting-edge industry practices, standards, and benchmarks; attending and presenting at roadshows, conferences, training seminars, and/or speaking events as necessary.

Reviews vendor performance levels, ensure service level agreements are reached, manages vendor bills, and collaborates with Procurement and/or Legal to negotiate service level and/or scope of work agreements as necessary as part of participating in vendor management.

checks that team members' business plans and the policies and procedures of the KP, the department, and/or the business line are followed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and Minimum eight (8) years experience in consulting, project management, data analytics, operations or a directly related field OR Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Services Administration, or related field and Minimum six (6) years experience in consulting, project management, data analytics, operations or a directly related field OR Minimum eleven (11) years experience in consulting, project management, data analytics, operations or a directly related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of experience implementing large or complex projects or programs, including designing and evaluating for scale based on the size of implementation.
  • Three (3) years of business case experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience consulting in a strategic capacity on highly complex or highly visible projects, programs, or initiatives.
  • Five (5) years of experience consulting with senior leaders at the VP level or above.
  • Five (5) years of experience conducting ROI analysis and quantifying the value of business initiatives.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Services Administration, or related field.
