Significant Duties:

Builds relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, communicates information and offers guidance to advance projects, influences team members within assigned unit, listens to, responds to, seeks, and addresses performance feedback, adapts to conflicting demands, and takes on new responsibilities. Practices self-leadership and encourages learning in others by giving feedback to others, including upward feedback to leadership, and mentoring junior team members.

carries out or supervises business-specific projects by using in-depth subject-matter expertise; encourages adherence to all procedures and policies; creates work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines; chooses and implements processes and methodologies; coordinates and delegated resources to achieve organizational goals; collaborating both internally and externally to reach sound business decisions; resolving complicated issues; elevating concerns or risks as necessary; tracking results; identifying and seizing improvement possibilities; and assessing other people's suggestions.

Develops insights, reports, and presentations that tell a compelling story to stakeholders to enable and influence decision-making. Participates in peer reviews. Provides context related to data interpretations and/or limitations as appropriate. Interprets complex data analyses by applying findings to contextual settings.

By identifying the data and analytical needs, translating models and gaining stakeholder support for implementation, developing complex models that produce actionable insights, testing, refining, and validating models, the leader leads the development of advanced analytical and/or statistical models that enable informed business decisions.

conceives, plans, and automates business and reporting solutions while working with stakeholders to ensure consistency and coherence in their design, planning, and execution; designing data reports, visualizations, and/or interactive Business Intelligence (BI) reports; analyzing and summarizing data and results; communicating key findings to stakeholders; determining the need for the creation and implementation of additional reporting solutions; and, if necessary, preparing documentation.

Develops, calculates, and validates algorithms; defines and conducts complex analyses, including descriptive, correlational, inferential, and/or predictive statistics; and drives the execution of innovative data analytic approaches that produce actionable results across functional areas, business lines, and/or clinical lines.

Integrates and consolidates data, ensures data quality and accuracy, profiles data inaccuracies and suggests process or system changes to improve overall data quality, collaborates with stakeholders and source system owners to resolve data quality issues as necessary, and cleans and creates final data set(s) for analysis to prepare data for analytic efforts

By validating data sources, querying, merging, and extracting data from internal and external sources, performing routine data refresh and update, developing and/or delivering complex tools for electronic data collection, and offering user training, support, and documentation, data is gathered on targeted variables in an established systematic manner.

Drives strategic data-informed decisions by consulting with clients and leadership to identify and clarify key business needs across functional areas, business lines, and/or clinical lines, developing outcomes and process measures, translating business requirements, determining data/information needs and data collection methods, developing complex analysis plans, and partnering with clients and staff.
