Significant Duties:
Practices professional nursing, assigns nursing duties to nursing support staff, and, as necessary, gives the LPN guidance.

- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support OR CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers
- Registered Nurse License (Hawaii) required at hire
Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated understanding of and aptitude for the following competencies: oral communication, oral prioritization, customer service, influence, interpersonal relations, quality management, outcomes orientation, system thinking, teamwork, time management, and written communication. After being hired into the specialty, one (1) year of experience in the field or successful completion of a formal course in the field is required. Operating rooms, emergency rooms, telemetry, intensive care units, labor and delivery, pediatrics, post-anesthesia care units, cardiology, outpatient therapy, diagnostic imaging, and oncology are some examples of specialty areas.
- Experience working with electronic medical records.
- One (1) year experience or completion of formal course in area of specialty.
- Coursework in basic EKG.
